Issue
When using the payload meter, the dump approaches the Smart Construction Retrofit but does not appear in the top position on the tablet.
Answer/Cause
1) The dump is not within the search range set on the tablet.
2) The acquisition cycle value set on the tablet is too large.
3) There is a problem with the terminal on the dump side.
4) The location information of the excavator is not obtained.
How to deal/Explanation
1) Expand the search range set on the tablet.
Check the search range setting in the following.
- On the payload meter screen, click the gear symbol in the lower left corner.
- Click the settings button.
- Click the machine symbol.
- Enter the password (31415)
- Check the value of "Search Range" on the machine settings screen.
- Change the value to any desired value.
Example: Search range "30m": Recognize when a dump truck enters within 30m.
*The narrower the search range, the closer the dumpster must be to be recognized.
2) Narrow the acquisition interval set on the tablet.
Please confirm the acquisition interval settings in the following.
- On the payload meter screen, click the gear symbol in the lower left corner
- Tap the settings button.
- Touch the machine symbol.
- Enter the password (31415).
- The machine settings screen will appear, so check the value of "Acquisition Interval". If necessary, change to a lower value.
Example Acquisition interval is "30s": Acquire a position every 30 seconds.
*The larger the value and the larger the acquisition interval, and the sooner the dump will not operate when it approaches.
3) Check the status of the terminal on the dump side.
Check the following.
- Please log in to the Smart Construction Fleet jobsite.
- Please wake up from sleep mode (screen is blacked out).
- Check if your (dump truck's) vehicle appears on the map screen of Smart Construction Fleet on the terminal.
4) Check if the location information of the excavator is acquired.
- The location information of the excavator is calculated from the GNSS antenna for Retrofit.
- Please open the Smart Construction Pilot machine guidance screen on the tablet equipped with the excavator.
- If the upper middle of the screen is green and "GNSS FIX" is displayed, and if there are no error messages such as "Unconnected to controller" or "Connecting...", the location information is obtained.
- If you do not see "GNSS FIX", please review your environment or settings and correct the problem first.
